This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Provide telephone triage for patients and families in hospice care.
β’ Evaluate patient conditions and decide on the appropriate next steps.
β’ Collaborate with on-call teams to ensure effective care coordination and resource allocation.
β’ Accurately record all communications and interventions.
β’ Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while managing urgent calls.
β’ Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
β’ Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is strongly preferred.
β’ Must be comfortable with technology and proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation of calls.
β’ Ability to type documentation and notes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Must be capable of managing stress and multitasking while handling calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends).
β’ Strong communication and critical thinking abilities are essential.
β’ Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
β’ This position is remote and requires consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts to ensure timely coordination of patient care.
β’ Base pay starting at $25 per hour, with numerous opportunities for raises, potentially reaching up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months of employment.
β’ Three weeks of paid remote training provided.
