This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
β’ Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.
β’ Evaluate patient conditions to determine suitable next steps.
β’ Work in collaboration with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources.
β’ Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and interventions.
β’ Maintain a composed and professional demeanor while managing urgent calls.
β’ Valid multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
β’ Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.
β’ Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.
β’ Ability to type documentation and notes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Capable of managing stress and multitasking while receiving calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends).
β’ Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
β’ Self-sufficient in a remote work setting.
β’ This is a remote role that requires consistent attendance, proactive communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts to facilitate timely patient care coordination.
β’ Starting pay at $25 per hour, with multiple opportunities for an hourly increase, potentially reaching up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months of employment.
β’ Three weeks of paid remote training.
