This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee HOA financial operations utilizing PayHOA, including managing owner ledgers and association accounts.
• Record and monitor homeowner assessments, payments, and special assessments.
• Process accounts payable while ensuring accurate GL coding.
• Maintain precise financial records for various HOA communities.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and budget vs. actual comparisons.
• Generate statements for homeowners and support board reporting activities.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor overdue accounts and aid in collections tracking.
• Collaborate with HOA managers regarding payment plans and outstanding balances.
• Ensure adherence to HOA governing documents and accounting standards.
• Maintain organized digital records and documentation prepared for audits.
• Provide assistance during audits and financial reviews as needed.
• At least 2 years of experience in HOA accounting is required.
• Proficient hands-on experience with PayHOA is essential.
• Solid understanding of HOA financials, assessments, and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with accounts payable/accounts receivable processes and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
