This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver daily lectures and tutoring sessions in writing, mathematics, reading, social studies, and science for potential students.
• Conduct timely progress and planning reviews for each HSE student.
• Maintain thorough records of student progress.
• Facilitate and instruct HSE students in group sessions focused on examination-related content.
• Offer personalized tutoring and remedial instruction.
• Observe and assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Present lectures and lead discussions to enhance student knowledge and skills.
• Utilize visual aids such as graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and classroom response systems.
• Administer standardized oral, written, or performance assessments.
• Assess progress and evaluate learning effectiveness in accordance with HSE standards.
• An associate’s degree in a related field is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of relevant tutoring experience is required.
• Advanced bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Two to three years of experience in teaching, blended learning, training, counseling, or testing environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and testing procedures is essential.
• Understanding of general education curriculum at the high school level is necessary.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic is required.
• Knowledge of proper English usage, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure is essential.
• Familiarity with data management systems such as Campus Vue, CRM, and McGraw Hill is beneficial.
• Knowledge of test administration procedures is required.
• Experience with MS Office applications is necessary.
