This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Create and implement captivating, career-oriented instruction throughout relevant CTE pathways.
• Organize and enhance Work Based Learning experiences, including internships, job shadowing, career panels, and industry site visits.
• Establish and maintain valuable partnerships with local businesses, industry experts, workforce development organizations, and community stakeholders.
• Assist students in obtaining industry-recognized certifications, guiding them through the preparation, registration, and completion of credentialing examinations.
• Utilize LCCA's digital resources, Learning Management System (LMS), and a variety of digital tools and curriculum materials.
• Provide support to students and parents with alternative strategies and offer additional help with daily assignments and projects.
• Maintain current student records and data.
• Collaborate with team members and staff learning specialists to create alternative enrichment activities and adapt students' programs.
• Develop and execute virtual strategies to foster and sustain a “school community.”
• Engage in the organization and administration of State Testing.
• Take part in student recruitment events and other marketing initiatives that necessitate teacher involvement.
• Must be appropriately certified to teach CTE at the High School level in South Carolina.
• Must possess a 5-12 Multi-occupations (MOC) certification or be willing to obtain one.
• Familiarity with Perkins Funding is preferred.
• Understanding of CTSO (Career-Technical Student Organizations) is beneficial.
• Proficient technology skills, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• High level of adaptability.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated history of being a team player.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for school meetings, training sessions, marketing, and state testing events (may include overnight travel).
• Capability to work remotely when necessary.
• Availability to work some evening hours, as required to assist certain families.
• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and email account for 2-step authentication.
