This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement medical strategy and engagement for designated customers within the Florida territory, ensuring compliance while coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve medical goals.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant therapeutic areas (malignant hematology associated disease states) and Pfizer products, providing necessary therapeutic area and product information to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as a resource for medical information and customer insights, offering requested information to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in accordance with Pfizer guidelines and conveying customer feedback to Pfizer when appropriate.

• Grasp the priorities of Pfizer Medical Affairs to assist in the development of medical content strategy and implement aligned Field Medical tactics.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration among headquarters medical teams and other Pfizer Field Medical colleagues.

• Exhibit proficiency in communication across various channels, including live and virtual presentations in both small and large settings, written correspondence, and telephone or virtual discussions.

• Enhance patient-centricity in medical communications and deliverables, integrating health literacy and cultural awareness principles to keep patients as the primary focus.

• Present approved medical content regarding Pfizer medicines and pertinent topics within the malignant hematology therapeutic area.

• Identify and engage priority customer segments within malignant hematology.

• Provide truthful, accurate, and scientifically substantiated information in response to unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs while adhering to all applicable Pfizer guidelines, policies, and procedures.

• Address relevant inbound queries from HCPs through the established triage process.

• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs colleagues and partner with Oncology Research & Development and Global Product Development (GPD) to identify potential sites for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials, particularly those serving under-represented patient populations.

• Offer appropriate medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process.

• Develop expertise in research and malignant hematology, including familiarity with the latest congress data and literature on disease states.

• Provide leadership for assets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science is required.

• Relevant experience is required: PharmD/PhD with 5+ years of experience, MBA/MSc with 7+ years of experience, or BA/BSc with 8+ years of experience.

• Recognized subject matter expertise in malignant hematology among both internal and external stakeholders.

• Must currently reside in the state of Florida.

• Ability to manage a substantial volume of projects developed in a remote environment, demonstrating prioritization skills, successful implementation, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Collaborate within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team to build strong professional relationships that align with Pfizer's medical objectives.

• Effectively navigate and lead through changes in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Exhibit change agility; be open to new opportunities (e.g., new therapeutic areas, territories, projects) and adaptable to organizational changes.

• Problem-solve and network across the enterprise to identify solutions.

• Quickly adopt and utilize new digital technologies and resources with medical customers while documenting medical interactions.

• Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Operate a Pfizer company car and travel by air as required (e.g., attending HCP/customer meetings, NYHQ meetings, etc.); maintain flexibility to travel 60-80% of the time.
