Hematology Field Medical Director, non-MD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver expertise in hematology across various medical customer segments.

• Develop and implement Medical strategies and engagement plans for designated customers.

• Stay informed about pertinent therapeutic areas and Pfizer products.

• Act as a resource for Medical Information and insights related to customer needs.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and other colleagues at Pfizer to meet objectives.

• Present medical information regarding Pfizer products to healthcare professionals.

• Enhance research capabilities and deepen expertise in therapeutic areas.

• Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process.

• Effectively communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups.

• Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership at clinical and professional associations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a health science is mandatory.

• Relevant experience is necessary: PharmD/PhD with over 5 years, MBA/MSc with over 7 years, or BA/BSc with over 8 years of experience.

• Recognized subject matter expert among both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven experience managing a substantial volume of projects in a remote setting.

• Strong judgment skills and the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement environment.

• Capability to build robust professional relationships within a multi-disciplinary team.

• Agile and adaptable to changes within the organization.

• Strong problem-solving and networking abilities across the enterprise.

• Proficient in digital technologies and medical communications.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Must be able to operate a Pfizer company car and be willing to travel 60-80% of the time.
