Senior Medical Director, Rheumatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver medical leadership and oversight throughout all stages of development.

• Assist in the development activities of proposed and ongoing projects within your area of expertise.

• Conduct medical monitoring for assigned clinical studies.

• Act as a primary medical representative during client interactions and discussions related to business development.

• Cultivate relationships with global clinical operations teams.

• Serve as the Lead Physician for Phase I–IV clinical trials.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define clinical and medical strategy.

• Oversee medical monitoring activities.

• Contribute to the medical strategy and implementation of studies and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD Degree.

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.

• Specialization in Rheumatology.

• Preferred: Specific expertise in cell and gene therapy for autoimmune diseases (AID).

• 3+ years of extensive knowledge in drug development.

• Significant clinical research experience within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry (or as a clinical trial investigator).

• Preferred: Industry experience that includes clinical trials medical monitoring.

• Strong scientific communication and client-facing skills.

• English language proficiency: Full professional proficiency.
