Associate Director, Clinical Operations – Retina Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement, execute, and supervise clinical trials within a clinical program.

• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations to design and manage clinical programs.

• Provide leadership in operational aspects of trial planning, execution, and data collection.

• Oversee the daily operations of Clinical Trial Operations and Clinical Data Management teams.

• Work together on annual budget planning and vendor management.

• Ensure clinical trials are prepared for inspections.

• Coordinate the development and review of protocols/amendments and their operational execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: A B.S./B.A. in Life Science or a related field is required.

• Experience: A B.S./B.A. with over 9 years of industry experience in clinical development and at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Required experience in late-phase trials.

• Ability to effectively communicate updates and priorities to the Clinical Operations and Development Leadership team.

• Capability to manage programs that have a corporate-wide impact.

• Must possess self-motivation and strong attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

• Familiarity with FDA and ICH Guidelines, GCP, and medical terminology.

• Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
