This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Assist the Correspondent Division ARC team and Commercial Loan Officers by providing analytical, marketing, and documentation support for interest rate hedging activities.
• Create borrower presentations and review as well as submit credit memos for hedge approval.
• Evaluate customer credit analyses and borrower hedging requests.
• Maintain communication with Commercial Lenders and borrowers.
• Examine legal closing documents and draft Rate Conversion Agreements.
• Organize closings and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the ARC trading desk to ensure accurate execution of trades.
• Complete tasks in accordance with departmental guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct research and analyze financial data to prepare financial position reports.
• Price basic interest rate derivatives, including swaps, caps, floors, and collars.
• Interact with customers, CPAs, and internal company comptrollers regarding financial statements, accounting methods, derivative pricing, and related details.
• Engage in special projects related to the job function.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of finance/accounting-related work experience may substitute for a college degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• Knowledge of derivative products and financial pricing concepts is essential.
• Extensive expertise in derivative modeling using Bloomberg.
• Familiarity with commercial credit and underwriting criteria is necessary.
• Capability to model and clarify interest rate derivatives pricing concepts.
• Understanding of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Bloomberg, and other departmental software.
• Ability to efficiently utilize computers and learn new software applications.
• Highly organized, precise, and detail-oriented.
• Capacity to multitask and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to address customer and coworker inquiries effectively.
• Capability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to access and interpret information from computer screens, documents, and reports.
• Must have a secure, distraction-free home office for telecommuting.
• A reliable private internet connection is required, preferably cable or fiber, not supplied through cellular data.
