Healthcare Member Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Member Advocates will be tasked with managing both inbound and outbound calls to assist our healthcare client.

• In this position, advocates are expected to provide outstanding customer service by following established protocols and guidelines.

• Advocates will aid members with various needs including billing, quoting, understanding medical or pharmacy benefits, supplying requested materials, researching claims, and much more!

• They will leverage various web-based systems to effectively address and resolve customer inquiries, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for each caller.

• Our aim is to create an exceptional member experience.

• Advocates should simplify the process for members, demonstrate genuine care, and ultimately resolve their concerns.

• Employees in this program do more than just deliver services to members; they advocate for them!

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Previous call center or customer service experience is highly preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with operating a computer, using internet search engines, and navigating multiple windows/tabs.

• Capability to sit for extended durations.

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

• Candidates must meet the preemployment testing criteria and internet speed test requirements.

• To work from home, candidates must have an enclosed and secure workspace free from distractions.

• A non-cellular high-speed internet service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable modems is required for a home office.

• Candidates must meet the minimum internet speed requirements of 20 mbps download and 12 mbps upload; hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet services are NOT acceptable for this role.
