Healthcare IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Healthcare IT data transformation projects that involve clinical and patient data domains.

• Establish structure, expectations, and coordination among subcontractors, technical teams, and stakeholders.

• Assist in initiatives such as Clinical Data Repositories (CDRs), clinical data pipelines, imaging workflows, and healthcare analytics platforms.

• Lead subcontractor and vendor meetings to enhance execution and accountability.

• Manage risks, dependencies, and readiness across various workstreams.

• Keep project documentation up-to-date, which includes schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and executive updates.

• Relay project progress, risks, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders effectively.

• Oversee scope, schedule, and change control to ensure delivery alignment.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is mandatory.

• A background in Healthcare IT is preferred, with approximately 60–70% relevant experience.

• Experience in supporting projects related to patient demographics, clinical data, or healthcare data platforms is essential.

• Familiarity with healthcare imaging workflows (DICOM, radiology, CT/X-ray imaging programs) is a valuable asset.

• Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams that deliver data transformation or integration initiatives.

• Experience in coordinating subcontractors and working in multi-vendor environments is required.

• Strong skills in risk management, dependency management, and governance are necessary.

• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders is crucial.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal and be eligible for a Public Trust clearance through the Government.
