This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead capital sales within the hospital sector by proactively identifying and generating leads, which includes cold calling on competitive accounts.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of Stago instrumentation and remain updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key hospital stakeholders, customizing solutions to meet specific client needs.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and create comprehensive proposals.
• Negotiate contract terms and meet revenue objectives.
• Play a vital role in fostering sales growth and achieving market success for Stago in the medical equipment industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, science, or a related field along with 2-3 years of clinical sales experience.
• 3-5 years of technical field experience, or 5-7 years of experience in clinical laboratories is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, science, or a related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience with Stago in a customer-facing capacity.
• A high school diploma with a proven history of 7-10 years in complex sales within the healthcare industry.
• Experience in project management is considered a plus.
• Preference for candidates with experience in capital sales.
• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in analytical and database software (Excel, BI) as well as presentation applications.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Capability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
• Proficiency in speaking effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Competence in addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays.
• Required to travel internationally.
