This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in line with Company and Facility policies and procedures.

• Uphold confidentiality and security regarding all privileged information.

• Maintain a working knowledge of Company and facility software.

• Comply with the Company's and Customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.

• Notify the manager of any work-related issues, site challenges, or changes in workload.

• Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as they arise or are required.

• Consistently apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.

• Responsible for the management of patient health records.

• Ensure the safeguarding of patient records and compliance with HIPAA standards.

• Prepare new patient charts by collecting documents and information from paper sources and/or electronic health records.

• Ensure that medical records are organized in standard order and are accurate and complete.

• Create digital images of paperwork for storage in the electronic medical record system.

• Respond to requests for patient records, both from within the facility and external sources, retrieving and transmitting them appropriately.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls.

• May assist with patient walk-ins.

• May support administrative duties such as managing faxes, opening mail, and performing data entry.

• Must meet productivity expectations as defined at the specific site.

• May schedule pick-ups.

• Other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to travel between locations as necessary.

• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons when required.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Comfortable using phones, fax machines, printers, and other standard office equipment regularly.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Detail-oriented and quality-focused concerning accurate and compliant medical records.

• Strong data entry skills.

• Must be capable of working with minimal supervision while responding to changing priorities and role requirements.

• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Capable of responding to requests in a fast-paced environment.
