Health Coach, Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual coaching in nutrition and wellness to facilitate healthy lifestyle transformations.

• Create personalized care plans and set measurable health objectives.

• Assist members with weight management, disease prevention, and medical nutrition therapy.

• Employ motivational interviewing and active listening strategies to enhance engagement and promote behavior change.

• Accurately record member progress and outcomes.

• Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to foster whole-person health.

• Empower members through tailored nutrition counseling, behavior change coaching, and support for chronic disease prevention.

• Collaborate individually with members to establish realistic health goals and offer evidence-based nutrition advice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is mandatory.

• Current state licensure is required where applicable.

• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in health coaching, nutrition counseling, and behavior modification.

• More than 5 years of experience in supporting weight management, chronic disease management, and medical nutrition therapy.

• Excellent skills in motivational interviewing, communication, and building relationships.

• Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and telehealth/digital health platforms.
