This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take full responsibility for the comprehensive delivery, automation integration, and operational transition of European fulfillment centers.
• Lead the Fulfillment Center (FC) Implementation team.
• Create and establish project management frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives among Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams.
• Propel CapEx automation and intralogistics projects to ensure scalable and timely launches of fulfillment centers.
• Mentor and guide the FC Implementation team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Procurement, and Operations to integrate technology and effectively manage stakeholders.
• Guarantee smooth operational transitions through well-structured training, documentation, and maintenance frameworks.
• Serve as the internal expert for material handling and automation engineering decisions.
• More than 5 years of experience managing large-scale CapEx projects in warehouse automation, material handling, or manufacturing environments.
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of conveyors, racking systems, and automated warehouse operations.
• Possession of a PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification.
• Excellent analytical and risk management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively.
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or familiarity with emerging robotics is preferred.
