This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the team dedicated to publishing research based on Netcraft’s distinctive data sets.
• Engage in hands-on research and manage the publication process.
• Represent Netcraft at conferences, webinars, media interactions, and in written publications.
• Establish editorial direction and quality benchmarks across diverse content formats.
• Deliver presentations at industry conferences and webinars, including keynote speeches and panel discussions.
• Create threat assessments that range from brief summaries to comprehensive briefings.
• Guide and cultivate a team of threat analysts.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to convert research discoveries into actionable insights.
• Proven track record of published research in threat intelligence or cybersecurity (including blog posts, whitepapers, conference presentations, etc.).
• Proficient in presenting original research to a variety of audiences, from technical analysts to C-suite executives.
• Extensive experience in threat intelligence, with a background in leading or managing a team.
• Exceptional editorial judgment with a history of reviewing and enhancing research writing for clarity, quality, and accuracy.
• Experience in managing or contributing to a publication pipeline.
• In-depth knowledge of phishing, malware, online fraud, social engineering, and threat actor TTPs.
• Up-to-date understanding of web technologies, internet infrastructure, and data analysis.
