Head of Supply Chain Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand the function

• Define and enhance the Supply Chain Management (SCM) operating framework to facilitate growth within Localisation and AI data services

• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing global team

• Align team performance with business objectives and foster accountability

• Drive strategy for Capacity and Supply

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of global supplier capacity and workforce capabilities

• Anticipate future client demands, especially in AI data services

• Strengthen and diversify the supplier base to ensure scalability and resilience

• Monitor KPIs and proactively address risks or deficiencies

• Establish a World-Class Supplier Network

• Lead global supplier recruitment across various languages, services, and modalities

• Execute targeted recruitment campaigns for critical locales, verticals, and AI initiatives

• Oversee end-to-end onboarding, testing, and qualification processes

• Develop Strategic Partnerships

• Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers

• Negotiate competitive rates and commercial agreements

• Collaborate Across the Business

• Work together with Sales, Production, and Solutions teams to shape service offerings

• Drive Innovation and Efficiency

• Lead automation initiatives to optimize onboarding and workflows

• Governance and Compliance

• Manage supplier data, documentation, and systems

• Ensure that data protection, security, and compliance standards are integrated

• Serve as a key stakeholder for supplier-related systems and tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in localisation, language services, AI data services, or a related domain

• Demonstrated leadership experience in vendor management, supply chain, talent acquisition, or workforce operations

• Experience in managing large external workforces (e.g., data annotation, BPO, or global freelance networks)

• Strong commercial insight and negotiation abilities

• Experience in scaling onboarding processes through automation, workflow tools, or supplier platforms

• Familiarity with language services beyond translation (MTPE, LQA, transcreation, etc.)

• Knowledge of CAT tools, MT engines, and AI-assisted production tools

• Degree in Languages, Business, Operations, Procurement, or a similar field (preferred)

• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus
