Head of Strategic Institutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Initiate, develop, and finalize partnerships with VIP institutional clients, such as banks, asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, quant funds, and sovereign wealth funds.

• Build, enhance, and capitalize on a personal network of C-suite connections at prominent global financial institutions.

• Take ownership of the aggregated institutional revenue goal, forecast, and pipeline health across various segments.

• Identify vertical strategies and balance long-term bank partnerships against shorter-term fund and asset manager clients.

• Create innovative partnerships, negotiate terms, and successfully close significant institutional deals on a global scale.

• Convert institutional product needs into business cases with ROI projections and advocate internally with product and engineering teams.

• Clearly communicate OKX’s regulatory status to client compliance committees, boards, and risk management teams.

• Manage OKX’s institutional market positioning and oversee the development of sales and marketing materials, press releases, competitive analysis, and thought leadership content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Business Development.

• A robust institutional network with C-suite decision-makers at banks, asset managers, and funds within the past 18 months.

• Proven track record in originating and finalizing institutional partnerships.

• Comprehensive knowledge of crypto products, including custody models, trading infrastructure, FIX connectivity, settlement mechanics, and regulatory frameworks.

• Insight into the infrastructure development lifecycle for banks and traditional asset managers entering the digital asset space.

• Experience in managing or directing professionals at the director level.

• Strong ability to lead through influence and collaboration.
