Head of Security Operations – Corporate IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance the Security Operations strategy and operational framework.

• Develop a robust security incident response capability.

• Advance threat intelligence and security validation methodologies.

• Implement management for key, secrets, and certificate lifecycles.

• Spearhead and refine Corporate IT strategy and operational model.

• Promote operational transparency through dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Oversee vendor performance and manage budget responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in Security Operations and/or Corporate IT Operations, preferably within a regulated or high-availability environment.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.

• Strong skills in incident response leadership.

• Experience in developing scalable operational processes.

• Ability to design and execute practical governance frameworks.

• Proven track record of enhancing Corporate IT service delivery.

• Experience in managing vendors/partners and overseeing budgets.

• Experience in supporting control assurance/audit initiatives.

• Proficient in English (CEFR C1 or C2); knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.

• Experience within the payment or financial services sector is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI systems and agents is also beneficial.
