SecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design and implement secure systems to safeguard Lido Protocol, DAO, applications, contributors, partners, and stakers.

• Establish processes, systems, and applications that make attacks challenging to execute and simple to detect.

• Integrate security practices and tools within the development pipeline.

• Create and uphold incident response plans and playbooks.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

• Lead or engage in incident response activities, which include investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Monitor security alerts and incidents for the timely identification and response to threats.

• Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to ensure security is integrated from design through deployment and maintenance.

• Offer training and support on security tools and techniques, highlighting soft skills such as communication, negotiation, and influence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with technical security assessments, code audits, design reviews, and vulnerability research.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, JavaScript, and Bash.

• Familiarity with security tools and technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and automated security testing.

• Exceptional communication skills to convey security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills for conducting security investigations and risk assessments.

• English proficiency: B2+.

• Preferred: Experience with blockchain technologies, Ethereum-based networks, web3 bug hunting, and contract analysis.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Git, Ansible, and Terraform.

• Experience in analyzing and preventing supply chain attacks.

• Emphasis on enhancing real-world security rather than mere compliance.
