This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the go-to-market success for ParentPay’s Payments Managed Service tailored for schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).
• Drive consultative sales while also shaping and enhancing the proposition (offer structure, value narrative, packaging, and commercial model) to assist customers in strengthening financial control.
• Collaborate closely with Account Management, Product, Operations, and Implementation teams to assess current-state payments operations.
• Measure risk and leakage, translating findings into clear outcomes and a persuasive commercial case for adopting the Managed Service.
• Provide structured market feedback to refine the proposition, ensuring it remains unique, scalable, and deliverable.
• Engage with schools and MATs to comprehend current payments and income-management processes, volumes, controls, and challenges.
• Identify operational risks, control gaps, compliance/audit vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and financial leakage.
• Develop a quantified case for change (time saved, risk reduction, improved collections) aligned with customer priorities.
• Position the Managed Service as an outcome-driven solution, customizing the narrative for finance, operations, and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in consultative or solution-based sales.
• Background in selling services, managed services, or operational solutions (beyond just software).
• Strong commercial insight with the capability to articulate financial value and ROI.
• Exceptional discovery and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders (finance / operations).
• Experience in contributing to proposition development (packaging, value messaging, pricing inputs) and creating/reusing sales enablement materials.
• Proven track record of building and closing complex deals.
• Experience in the education sector, payments, or financial software.
• Understanding of financial processes, reconciliation, or income management.
• Experience working with Multi-Academy Trusts or public sector organizations.
• A curious and analytical approach, seeking to understand before proposing solutions.
• A credible and trustworthy individual capable of quickly establishing confidence with customers.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to function effectively in a developing proposition.
• Commercially driven, yet not overly “salesy” in demeanor.
• Resilient and self-sufficient, possessing a proactive mindset.
