Head of Psychiatry – Collaborative Care Model, Telemedicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish the overarching vision for Triplemoon’s psychiatry division.

• Act as the leader of the Company's affiliated professional corporation(s), overseeing all hiring, training, and management of Triplemoon’s psychiatry medical personnel, including psychiatric advanced practice providers.

• Support quality assurance initiatives.

• Aid in the development of care planning by creating structured psychiatric medication management guidelines and recommendations.

• Supervise the professional growth of Triplemoon’s wider clinical team, serving as a primary culture ambassador and exemplar of our pediatric care model.

• Collaborate with behavioral health care managers and primary care providers (PCPs) to evaluate patient caseloads, offering treatment suggestions for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other behavioral health issues.

• Conduct systematic weekly reviews of caseloads to track patient progress and modify care plans as needed.

• Provide indirect psychiatric consultation for diagnostic clarification, psychopharmacologic options, and complex cases.

• Ensure compliance with measurement-based care protocols (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, and other standardized assessment tools).

• Engage in the development and delivery of clinical training resources for clinical staff, alongside educational programs for physician partners.

• Be available for ad-hoc consultations with PCPs at their convenience to nurture clinical relationships.

• Assist in creating educational materials for PCPs focused on psychiatric management in primary care settings.

• Clearly document consultations and recommendations in the Triplemoon electronic health record (EHR).

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Stay updated on best practices and evolving guidelines in integrated behavioral health.

• Represent Triplemoon’s psychiatry division at industry events as directed by the Company.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with board certification in psychiatry (additional board certification in pediatrics is a plus).

• Active, unrestricted medical license in relevant state(s).

• Strong preference for experience with the Collaborative Care Model, integrated care, or telepsychiatry.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to function in a consultative, team-oriented role.
