This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify and assess acquisition prospects within the Company’s key markets
• Develop enduring, trust-based relationships with business owners and entrepreneurs
• Act as the Company's representative across the market and relevant sectors
• Travel frequently to engage with current and potential acquisition targets, visit companies, and foster relationships
• Serve as a trusted advisor to founders throughout the acquisition journey
• Guide acquisition conversations from initial meetings to closing alongside the Corporate Development team
• Assess the quality of earnings, employee base, contracts, and market position
• Assist in commercial evaluations, financial analyses, and due diligence
• Coordinate with internal and external legal, financial, and due diligence advisors
• Oversee deal execution until closure, with integration support from the M&A team based in Sweden
• Maintain a trusted point of contact for teams post-acquisition
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
• 5-10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or another commercially oriented role
• Solid understanding and hands-on knowledge of the complete M&A transaction process
• Experience in managing transactions through to closure is highly preferred
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with entrepreneurs and business owners
• Comfortable working in a private equity-backed setting that emphasizes growth and value creation
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to create something impactful
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively with teams at all levels
• Previous acquisition experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Ability to function in a standard office or remote setting, including extended periods of sitting and using a computer
• Proficient in effective communication via phone, video, and in-person interactions
• Willingness to travel regularly; estimated at 40%
