Head of Legal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Legal Team: Guide, mentor, and foster the development of team members to enhance their professional growth and ability to manage complex legal issues.

• Collaborate with the executive team to establish our legal business model in targeted markets.

• Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes that may influence the organization's operations.

• Administer the organization’s contracts, intellectual property, and litigation affairs.

• Offer legal advice to the executive team and other staff as required.

• Daily legal risk management.

• Strategic Legal Risk Mitigation & Planning: Formulate and execute long-term legal strategies for compliance and legal operations that align with the company’s expansion objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in legal roles, with a background in managing a wide array of corporate legal issues.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.

• Strong grasp of business operations and their legal ramifications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate law, taxation, company incorporation, and regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions.

• Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and overseeing litigation matters.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment in evaluating legal risks.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support business stakeholders.
