• Develop and implement a cohesive cloud architecture strategy.

• Collaborate with Finance to manage the cloud cost strategy.

• Take complete ownership of Albert’s security posture from start to finish.

• Establish and advance a Zero Trust architecture.

• Lead efforts for compliance and audit preparedness.

• Oversee the Azure interoperability strategy.

• Manage the ML/AI infrastructure platform effectively.

• Propel infrastructure modernization initiatives.

• Build and direct a global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization.

• Define and maintain the Service Level Objectives (SLO) framework.

• Establish incident response and disaster recovery protocols.

• Manage relationships with vendors.

• Create and implement cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.

• At least 3 years in a senior leadership position.

• Extensive expertise in AWS.

• Significant experience with Azure.

• Proficient in Kubernetes at an architectural level.

• Experience in designing SLO frameworks.

• Background in building or managing global, distributed engineering teams.

• Strong foundation in security principles.

• Knowledge in designing incident response, post-mortem, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

• Proven ability in driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standardization and enhancing DevOps maturity.

• Demonstrated success in reducing cloud costs through Financial Operations (FinOps) practices.

• Experience in managing vendor relationships and overseeing infrastructure budgets.

• Familiarity with startup or high-growth company environments.

• MLOps infrastructure experience is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are preferred.
