Head of Financial Planning – Business Partnering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the Financial Planning & Business Partnering function, including associated processes, frameworks, and operational methodologies.

• Direct the budgeting, forecasting, and P&L planning activities.

• Aggregate and manage regular forecasts for revenue and operational expenses.

• Facilitate performance management by conducting financial analysis, tracking KPIs, and providing business insights.

• Create and sustain KPI frameworks to aid in tracking business performance.

• Collaborate with BI teams to refine reporting, develop dashboards, and create scalable data models.

• Conduct profitability analyses, ROI assessments, and unit economics modeling across various business areas, products, partners, and initiatives.

• Develop business cases, financial scenarios, and ROI models for new projects.

• Convert complex financial and operational data into straightforward recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.

• Constructively question assumptions, forecasts, and business plans to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Lead and nurture the FP&BP team, starting with a Senior FP&A Specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in finance, financial planning, business analytics, or roles focused on business and strategy analysis.

• Demonstrated expertise in FP&A and Finance Business Partnering.

• Experience in establishing and managing budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.

• Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, and handling large datasets.

• Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable applications.

• Proficiency in Ukrainian.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
