Head of Financial Controlling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of forecasts, reports, and presentations along with ad-hoc analyses and evaluations, including commentary, for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.

• Main responsibility for KPIs and quarterly forecasts.

• Medium-term strategic planning for group companies both domestically and internationally, along with preparation of the three-year plan.

• Creation of the cash flow statement and key financial metrics for the AG in relation to the annual financial statements (HGB).

• Active participation in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB/IFRS.

• Establishment and ongoing enhancement of controlling, KPI systems, and financial reporting under HGB/IFRS.

• Serve as the primary contact for external inquiries from auditors both domestically and internationally, collaborating closely with internal departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling or a similar commercial qualification, along with additional training as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter).

• Several years of professional experience in Financial Controlling, preferably within an international organization, along with prior leadership experience.

• A structured approach to work and a high level of personal accountability.

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); ideally experienced with DATEV (Rechnungswesen Pro and IDLKONSIS) or similar accounting software.

• A passion for managing projects and enhancing processes.

• Strong written and verbal English skills enhance your profile.
