Head of Finance – Lead Finance as a Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic advisor for clients and founders, serving as the primary contact for finance-related inquiries.

• Contribute to the core team during funding rounds and play a significant role in business planning.

• Tasked with establishing controlling frameworks and KPI systems.

• Ensure timely preparation of BWAs (monthly management reports), annual financial statements, and quarterly reports.

• Serve as the liaison for statutory and operational audits, acting as the main point of contact for tax consultants.

• Lead the Finance team with a collaborative approach to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3–4 years of professional experience in finance, whether in-house, at an auditing firm, or within a consulting firm.

• A strong academic background with a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A desire to contribute significantly within a startup environment, ideally evidenced in prior roles.

• An organized and methodical working style, with a high level of ownership and an analytical approach.

• Preferably experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or another startup/scale-up context.

• Proficiency in both German and English at a business/professional level.
