Head of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Dicey is seeking a Head of Finance to manage and enhance the financial operations of a fast-paced, real-time gaming platform.

• Lead an established finance team, defining priorities, responsibilities, and standards.

• This position involves active leadership, where you'll be directly involved in execution alongside your team, rather than merely supervising.

• Oversee the complete accounting function: month-end closure, reconciliations, financial statements, and preparation for audits.

• Manage accounts payable and payroll processes.

• Ensure tax compliance across all operating jurisdictions, including corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and transfer pricing for multi-entity structures.

• Direct crypto and digital asset accounting, encompassing transaction-level reporting, wallet reconciliations, and classification across fiat and on-chain activities.

• Handle $ME token reporting, accounting treatment, valuation requirements, and financial disclosures in accordance with applicable standards.

• Manage AML/CTF compliance responsibilities and KYC processes across all operating jurisdictions.

• Design and implement treasury and fund flows for both fiat and crypto.

• Oversee financial operations comprehensively: revenue tracking, promotional expenditures, affiliate and KOL payouts, and reconciliation across wallets and platforms.

• Develop and maintain systems for real-time financial visibility and reporting.

• Manage multi-entity structures, including intercompany transactions and service agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations, particularly in a hands-on role.

• Demonstrated capability to manage accounting comprehensively, covering both strategic finance and the operational execution beneath it.

• Direct experience with crypto and digital asset accounting, including on-chain transaction reporting and token-related financial treatment.

• Strong understanding of AML/CTF compliance requirements and regulated financial environments.

• Background in gaming, betting, trading, exchanges, payments, or similarly fast-paced environments.

• Experience in managing treasury, liquidity, or fund flows for both fiat and crypto.

• Familiarity with multi-entity structures, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance.

• Comfortable working in a streamlined setting where you play both a strategic role and are directly involved in execution.

• High level of ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to function effectively in an unstructured environment.
