Head of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the financial authority in discussions.

• Challenge decisions and rigorously evaluate plans. Assist in identifying risks and tradeoffs that may have been overlooked.

• Take ownership of planning and forecasting processes.

• Develop and enhance the models that inform our hiring, investment, and growth strategies.

• Conduct scenario analyses to anticipate future challenges.

• Transform numerical data into actionable decisions.

• Enhance existing processes across FP&A, accounting, and reporting functions.

• Provide clear insights into burn rate, runway, and unit economics.

• Manage billing operations (essential).

• Foster both operational excellence and strategic enhancements in our payment processes.

• Collaborate closely with the GTM team to grasp growth efficiency, evaluate state expansion tradeoffs, and scale revenue while ensuring safe patient care.

• Oversee and manage the tax process across our MSO/PC structure, collaborating with external partners to ensure compliance and optimize efficiency as we scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previously held a senior finance or strategy leadership position in a startup or high-growth setting.

• Over 10 years of experience in finance, strategy, investment banking, private equity, or operational roles.

• Proven experience in constructing financial models and implementing financial systems from scratch.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly within an MSO/PC corporate framework.

• Experience in revenue operations (healthcare background is advantageous).

• Proven track record of functioning strategically while also managing detailed execution.

• Experience in managing or collaborating with external finance resources (e.g., fractional CFOs, auditors, firms).

• Proficiency with NetSuite, Bill.com, Carta, and Excel.

• Previous experience in people management is preferred.
