Head of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• RCM Oversight: Direct and develop the RCM team to ensure accurate billing, collections, and reconciliation between invoiced services and cash receipts, thereby enhancing the quality of earnings and predictability of cash flow.

• Financial Reporting & Analytics: Advance financial and operational reporting by incorporating franchisor system data, constructing dynamic financial models, and delivering executive-level insights as well as communications to the board.

• Cash Flow & Forecasting Management: Create and uphold robust cash flow reporting and forecasting processes that support strategic reinvestment and growth, including organic expansion and acquisitions.

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with business owners and operational leaders to align finance with sales-driven growth strategies, maintaining operational discipline while preserving momentum.

• Transaction Readiness & PE Interface: Prepare the finance function and reporting framework for potential private equity transactions, serving as a key finance leader throughout due diligence and exit processes.

• Healthcare & Revenue Cycle Expertise: In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and the payer landscape to optimize the RCM process, ensuring that the quality of earnings and cash collections are closely aligned with reported revenue.

• Hands-On Financial Ops & Reporting: Demonstrated capability to engage deeply with cash flow and operational data, enhancing financial and operational reporting while developing dynamic financial models tied to key operating metrics.

• Private Equity & Transaction Readiness: Background in private equity environments and transaction processes, prepared to lead due diligence and confidently present financial data to private equity sponsors in anticipation of a potential exit within 3-5 years.
