Head of Corporate Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Direct and manage the IT Support, Security, and Compliance departments.

• Own and oversee security and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification.

• Administer Microsoft 365 within a complex, multi-tenant framework.

• Supervise technology vendors, manage contract renewals, optimize licensing, and conduct commercial negotiations.

• Collaborate with Engineering to mitigate security risks during platform and legacy system transitions.

• Work alongside Legal, the DPO, and People teams to ensure compliance, governance, and security standards are upheld.

• Report directly to the CPTO.

• Empower the organization to operate swiftly while ensuring the security of personnel, systems, and data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading IT, Security, or Corporate Technology operations within a rapidly growing technology firm.

• Proven track record of leading or co-leading a SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 certification initiative.

• Practical experience in managing Microsoft 365 in intricate or multi-tenant settings.

• Experience in overseeing enterprise technology vendors, software licensing, and contract negotiations.

• Knowledge of GRC platforms such as Scytale or similar compliance automation solutions.

• Background in closely collaborating with Product and Engineering teams as a strategic ally.

• Experience in EdTech, language services, or businesses catering to both B2B and B2C markets is highly regarded.

• Legal authorization to work in Germany.
