This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Develop, implement, and enhance the company's global compliance framework across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Create and uphold policies, standards, controls, governance forums, and reporting procedures.
• Lead comprehensive compliance risk assessments throughout the organization and maintain the compliance risk register.
• Establish processes for monitoring, testing, and issue management to identify, escalate, and address compliance gaps.
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Legal and the executive team regarding compliance risks, incidents, trends, and remediation efforts.
• Supervise the company's compliance strategy regarding data protection and privacy obligations — including GDPR and other relevant privacy requirements — in collaboration with the Legal and Security teams.
• Ensure the organization demonstrates accountability through appropriate documentation, reporting, and governance.
• Serve as the senior GRC lead for customer due diligence, regulated-sector questionnaires, control reviews, and audit requests.
• Develop and manage the compliance aspects of third-party risk management — encompassing vendor evaluations, subprocessors, outsourcing controls, and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure GRC readiness for external assurance frameworks and certifications, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related control programs.
• Contribute compliance insights into new products, AI-related applications, commercial initiatives, customer contracts, and market expansion strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in a GRC, compliance, risk, governance, or regulatory assurance role.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS, fintech, regtech, payments, or other technology sectors serving regulated clients.
• Proven track record of building or scaling a compliance or GRC function within an international organization.
• Extensive working knowledge of privacy, control frameworks, policy governance, audit coordination, and third-party risk management.
• Experience in supporting enterprise customer due diligence and audit processes.
• Strong judgment and stakeholder management abilities — comfortable engaging at senior and executive levels.
