This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• You will be tasked with developing and leading the commercial sales strategy within the renewables sector, seizing high-value opportunities from initial engagement through to conversion.
• Leveraging your industry knowledge and commercial acumen, you will pinpoint growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance Utilita’s standing in a competitive market.
• A primary focus will be on securing and nurturing major commercial opportunities with larger organizations.
• You will take charge of the sales pipeline and contribute to shaping the future direction of the renewables offering through market insights, product feedback, and go-to-market strategies.
• As the team expands, this position will also play a crucial role in establishing and leading a commercial sales function, with future opportunities to mentor and manage SDRs and other commercial team members.
• We welcome candidates from diverse commercial, business development, or renewable energy backgrounds who can demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving growth.
• Experience in solar, renewables, energy, utilities, or related commercial sectors would be highly advantageous.
• You will possess commercial awareness, be proactive, and confidently cultivate long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Whether your experience stems from scaling sales functions, directing commercial strategies, building partnerships, or developing high-performing pipelines, we seek someone who can identify opportunities and transform them into tangible results.
