This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of Achieve’s strategic multi-year funding roadmap and report directly to the President of Achieve Lending.
• Elevate Capital Markets activities into a top-tier, programmatic initiative that aligns institutional investor demand with credit risk, origination types, and liquidity targets.
• Establish and uphold accountability for the performance plan related to loan sales and securitization.
• Create and direct a diversified funding stack that encompasses forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, ABS programs, and credit box alignment.
• Collaborate with Finance and Treasury to oversee corporate liquidity and maintain an operational buffer against market risk.
• Spearhead the transformation of outdated funding processes into an AI-driven Capital Allocation Engine utilizing algorithmic Best Execution.
• Champion AI capabilities such as predictive pricing, investor allocations, risk/prepayment monitoring, and automated deal structuring.
• Manage a consolidated loan data warehouse and a self-service reporting portal for investors.
• Create credit and stress scenarios that reflect major rating-agency models.
• Enhance cross-functional operating rhythms, synthesize investor and market intelligence, and establish funding gates for product launches and credit expansions.
• Align revenue recognition policies, cost-of-capital metrics, and balance-sheet deployment strategies.
• Develop capital strategy and structural design for new lending products, including mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Marketing, and business-unit GMs to optimize borrower acquisition, risk-adjusted returns, and investor interest.
• Ensure that new asset designs, credit boxes, and yield profiles are integrated with warehouse lines, forward-flow agreements, and ABS issuance.
• 12+ years of senior-level experience in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets.
• 3–5+ years of experience leading the Capital Markets function.
• Demonstrated track record in managing programmatic ABS platforms.
• Experience in negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities.
• Experience navigating complex liquidity environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.
• Extensive knowledge of structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling techniques.
• Proven capability to manage outcomes and link capital markets results to long-term enterprise value creation.
• Outstanding relationship-building abilities and a commitment to proactive transparency.
• Experience in building high-performing cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance.
• MBA, CFA, or an advanced degree in quantitative finance is highly preferred.
