This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the strategic multi-year funding roadmap to facilitate Achieve’s growth.
• Report directly to the President of Achieve Lending.
• Transform Capital Markets activities into a structured initiative that aligns institutional investor demand with credit risk, origination types, and liquidity goals.
• Define and uphold accountability for loan sales and securitization performance.
• Design and direct Achieve’s diverse funding stack, including forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, ABS, and credit box alignment.
• Collaborate with Finance and Treasury to manage corporate liquidity and maintain an operational buffer against market risk.
• Partner with Technology to develop an AI-enabled Capital Allocation Engine utilizing algorithmic Best Execution.
• Champion predictive pricing, investor allocations, risk/prepayment monitoring, and automated deal structuring capabilities.
• Oversee a centralized loan data warehouse and a self-service investor reporting portal.
• Create credit and stress scenario models that reflect major rating agencies' methodologies.
• Enhance cross-functional operating rhythms with Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Finance, Treasury, Marketing, and various business units.
• Establish funding criteria for new product launches and credit expansions.
• Align revenue recognition, corporate cost of capital metrics, and balance sheet deployment strategies.
• Develop capital strategy and structural design for new lending products, which include mortgage, auto, and credit card offerings.
• Build high-performing cross-functional teams spanning Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance.
• 12+ years of senior-level experience in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms.
• 3–5+ years of experience leading the Capital Markets function.
• Demonstrated history of managing programmatic ABS platforms.
• Experience in negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities.
• Ability to manage complex liquidity environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
• In-depth understanding of structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling techniques.
• Proven capacity to manage outcomes and link capital markets results to long-term enterprise value creation.
• Exceptional skills in relationship-building and transparent communication.
• Experience in forming high-performing, cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance.
