This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead Achieve’s strategic multi-year funding roadmap while reporting directly to the President of Achieve Lending.
• Design and manage a diversified funding stack tailored for cost of capital, certainty of takeout, capacity, and resilience.
• Architect and supervise forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, ABS programs, and ensure credit box alignment.
• Collaborate with Finance and Treasury to oversee corporate liquidity and sustain an operational buffer against market risk.
• Revolutionize legacy funding processes into an AI-driven Capital Allocation Engine utilizing algorithmic Best Execution.
• Champion and expand predictive pricing, investor allocations, risk/prepayment monitoring, and automated deal structuring.
• Oversee a sophisticated unified loan data warehouse and a self-service investor reporting portal.
• Create credit and stress scenario models that mirror the methodologies of major rating agencies.
• Enhance cross-functional operating rhythms between Capital Markets and other teams within Achieve.
• Synthesize investor insights, market intelligence, and shifts in asset preferences.
• Establish funding criteria for the launch of new products and credit expansions.
• Align revenue recognition policies, corporate cost of capital metrics, and balance sheet allocation.
• Develop and broaden product capabilities in mortgage, auto, and credit card lending.
• Direct capital strategy and structural design for innovative lending products.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Marketing, and Business Unit GMs to enhance borrower acquisition, risk-adjusted returns, and investor interest.
• Ensure that new asset designs, credit structures, and yield profiles are compatible with warehouse lines, forward flow agreements, and ABS issuance.
• Build high-performing cross-functional teams in Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance.
• Over 12 years of senior-level experience in consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms.
• 3-5+ years of experience leading the Capital Markets function.
• Demonstrated history of managing programmatic ABS platforms.
• Experience in negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities.
• Proven ability to navigate complex liquidity environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.
• Extensive knowledge of structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling techniques.
• Established ability to manage outcomes and link capital markets results to long-term enterprise value generation.
• Outstanding relationship-building and clear communication skills.
• Experience in creating high-performing, cross-functional teams in Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance.
• MBA, CFA, or an advanced degree in quantitative finance is highly preferred.
