This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform LifeStance’s enterprise strategy into a practical AI enablement roadmap by identifying key use cases, sequencing, dependencies, and value hypotheses.
• Establish the criteria for prioritizing AI investments, develop business cases, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to guide investment decisions.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, technological, operational excellence (OE), compliance, and functional leaders to pinpoint areas where AI can significantly enhance access, experience, quality, productivity, and scalability.
• Articulate AI initiatives in business language – clarifying the rationale, anticipated impact, risks, and success metrics for executive-level decision-making.
• Create, implement, and refine AI governance frameworks, which include intake, prioritization, risk assessment, clinical safety considerations, compliance, data usage, and continuous monitoring of deployed solutions.
• Oversee the complete execution of AI enablement initiatives – from conceptualization to scaled deployment and lifecycle management.
• Assist in defining and operationalizing the enterprise AI operating model – detailing how ideas are generated, assessed, developed or procured, governed, scaled, and evaluated.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in strategy, program leadership, consulting, transformation, or technology-enabled operating roles, with substantial involvement in leading enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in regulated or highly complex environments, with a strong preference for healthcare experience.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts, applications, and risks (e.g., generative AI, automation, clinical decision support, operational AI), even without direct technical building experience.
• Background in designing or managing governance models (AI, data, technology risk, compliance, or similar) and decision-making frameworks.
• Demonstrated capability to convert ambiguity into structured priorities and actionable steps.
• Data-fluent with experience in defining success metrics and leveraging performance data to guide decision-making.
• Proven record of developing business cases and performing cost-benefit or ROI analyses to inform strategic investment choices.
• Exceptional influencing and communication skills, with a track record of engaging senior executives without formal authority.
• Ability to remain calm, disciplined, and solution-focused under pressure.
• A strong sense of curiosity, sound judgment, and a tendency toward responsible innovation.
