This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of AI/ML models aimed at prediction, decision-making, and automation.

• Create AI agent systems utilizing large language models (LLMs) and structured financial data.

• Establish model architecture, training methodologies, evaluation strategies, and iteration cycles.

• Enhance model performance focusing on accuracy, reliability, and interpretability.

• Develop and expand data pipelines that facilitate both real-time and batch processing.

• Design data architecture for managing structured and unstructured financial data.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, lineage, and security of data.

• Assist in integrating various data sources throughout banking workflows.

• Deploy models in production environments ensuring high reliability and uptime.

• Verify that systems comply with enterprise standards (latency, scalability, observability).

• Create monitoring systems to detect model drift, performance issues, and anomalies.

• Convert financial workflows into AI-enhanced systems.

• Collaborate closely with product and domain specialists to ensure practical applicability.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade ML/AI systems.

• Strong foundation in machine learning, data engineering, or applied artificial intelligence.

• Experience with large-scale datasets and model pipelines.

• Practical skills in designing and delivering systems (beyond just research).

• Solid understanding of model evaluation and system performance metrics.

• Experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, or foundation models is preferred.

• Background in leading AI, infrastructure, or data-oriented companies is preferred.

• Experience in fintech, financial data, or regulated sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with scalable cloud data/ML infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.) is preferred.

• Experience in developing systems from early-stage concepts to production scale is preferred.
