📋 Description

• We are looking for talented and highly motivated Haitian Creole Interpreters to be part of our completely remote team.

• This position initially focuses on OPI, providing a clear pathway for advancement into VRI.

• Your primary responsibility will be to deliver accurate, consecutive interpretation, predominantly in medical environments.

• You will play a vital role in facilitating essential communication within social services and financial settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation is required.

• English Proficiency: You must demonstrate a minimum C1 fluency level. We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.

• Interpretation Certification: You should be capable of passing a terminology and interpreter skills assessment during the hiring process.

• Core Skills: A comprehensive understanding of medical and customer service terminology is essential.

• Compliance: You must currently possess, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Background Check: You must be ready to successfully complete a standard background check via email.

• Internet Connection: A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is required (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited).

• Hardware: A high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset is necessary.

• Computer Specs: Your system should have at least Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM.

• Browser: You must use the latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge.

• Workspace: A private, quiet workspace that is fully HIPAA-compliant is required.
