This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Leadership, Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Finance, and various cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights regarding business drivers, financial performance, and associated risks.
• Create and implement high-visibility initiatives designed to enhance performance and productivity in order to meet sales growth objectives.
• Evaluate and assess sales team performance while managing analytical models and sources of insights (including performance forecasting and productivity models).
• Assist with ongoing business operations and the preparation of executive materials (such as memos, presentations, business reviews, and executive slides).
• Recognize risks to growth objectives and formulate action plans to address those challenges.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles (Emphasize Customer Success, Plan for the Long Term, Foster a Growth Mindset, Promote Inclusivity, and Collaborate as a Team) as we expand globally and open new offices.
• 4-7 years of professional experience in a management consulting firm and/or as a Sales Operations/Business Operations or Financial Analyst.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the capability to independently oversee multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in effective oral and written communication.
• Strong decision-making, analytical, and logical reasoning abilities, including a proactive approach and adaptability to change.
• Friendly and collaborative demeanor, energized by interaction with diverse individuals across various teams (a sense of humor is a significant advantage).
• Proficient with analytical tools (such as Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Databricks) and/or open to expanding skill sets to address new challenges.
• Experience in working alongside executives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable with uncertainty and passionate about enhancing efficiencies and promoting growth.
