This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the regional contract management strategy in line with business goals.
• Actively identify and reduce contractual, commercial, and legal risks across the project portfolio.
• Offer expert advice on intricate disputes, including multi-party claims, force majeure situations, and termination scenarios.
• Influence commercial strategy from the tender phase to project completion, ensuring the flow-down of terms to suppliers, contractors, and partners.
• Drive the identification, negotiation, and resolution of significant offensive and defensive claims.
• Apply advanced methodologies for delay, disruption, and quantum assessment to establish strong claim positions.
• Collaborate with Legal and project teams to oversee formal dispute resolution processes (mediation, arbitration, litigation).
• Guide and nurture the Regional Contract Management Team, promoting a culture of high performance.
• Set performance targets, oversee staffing needs, and optimize workload management.
• Ensure stringent adherence to standard work practices and quality standards.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen) and document "Lessons Learned" to enhance commercial excellence.
• A university degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• At least 15 years of experience in large, complex infrastructure projects (Energy, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction).
• Proven success in managing the complete lifecycle of intricate claims and leading high-stakes negotiations.
• Extensive familiarity with international frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or custom contracts).
• Established record in regional or functional leadership, managing professional teams effectively.
• Professional fluency in English is required (French is a plus).
