This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Take charge of strategy, implementation, and optimization across all paid channels: Google/Bing Search, Meta, Reddit, TikTok, CTV/Streaming, Display, and Affiliate.
• Oversee budget distribution across channels to achieve CPA, CAC, and activation objectives.
• Create, launch, and refine campaigns with an emphasis on testing creative elements, audience targeting, bidding strategies, landing pages, and offers.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brief, assess, and enhance ad assets; leverage performance data to inform creative choices (beyond just aesthetic considerations).
• Direct audience strategy, encompassing prospecting, lookalike audiences, retargeting, and suppression logic across various platforms.
• Manage reporting for paid channels: conduct weekly performance assessments, monthly channel summaries, and ongoing anomaly detection.
• Work with data and analytics to establish incrementality measurement frameworks; discern between attributed and causal performance.
• Enhance and manage tracking systems in collaboration with engineering, including UTMs, pixel health, and event-level data integrity.
• Create a test-and-learn roadmap; document outcomes and disseminate insights throughout the team.
• Collaborate with product marketing on messaging, landing page strategies, and offer testing.
• Coordinate closely with the Organic Growth and Brand teams to ensure that paid and organic strategies enhance rather than compete with one another.
• Participate in campaign planning for product launches, seasonal initiatives, and new market expansions.
• Experience: 4–6+ years in performance marketing, with direct experience managing paid campaigns across a minimum of three channels (Search, Social, and one additional).
• Channel Depth: You have effectively managed significant budgets on Google Ads and Meta. You possess an understanding of bidding mechanics, algorithm behavior, and methods to structure campaigns for optimal learning and scaling.
• Analytically Rigorous: You are adept at extracting your own data, pinpointing essential insights, and building a rationale for subsequent actions. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Looker, or a similar BI tool is essential.
• Creative Intuition: You go beyond merely analyzing the figures. You comprehend *why* one ad excels over another and can brief the creative team accordingly. Experience collaborating with a creative team is advantageous.
• Measurement Fluency: You are knowledgeable about attribution models, incrementality testing, and the constraints of last-click data. Experience with or development of MMM or geo-lift frameworks is a plus.
