This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Facilitate the growth of the Air Force market.
• Oversee all growth initiatives within the Air Force pipeline, crafting and implementing account strategies that highlight the company’s solutions as essential mission capabilities.
• Recognize future mission challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with operational users, program offices, and mission leaders to grasp emerging issues and devise solutions that align the company’s platforms and capabilities with those requirements.
• Implement a solution-oriented sales strategy.
• Identify, assess, and advance opportunities from initial mission engagement through to capture and proposal phases across various acquisition avenues (SBIR, OTA, CSO, MAC, IDIQ, and others).
• Establish enduring and trustworthy strategic relationships within the Air Force, including operational units, acquisition offices, laboratories, and mission support organizations.
• Promote growth within Air Force entities by pinpointing additional mission users/applications and enhancing adoption across commands and programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active Top Secret level security clearance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in government contracting business development, capture, or mission engagement within the Department of Defense.
• Proven track record of supporting or selling to Air Force organizations.
• Comprehensive understanding of Air Force structure, mission priorities, and procurement environment.
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition pathways, including OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and major contract vehicles.
• Experience in supporting or marketing software, analytics, AI, modeling and simulation, cyber, or digital mission capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate a pipeline and advance opportunities from initial mission engagement to contract award.
• Established network within the Air Force operational, acquisition, and innovation sectors.
