This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Take ownership of and implement PVcase’s editorial outreach and media relations strategy, with the goal of securing premium placements in a select group of leading renewable energy and solar industry publications.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and contributors at key industry outlets, serving as PVcase’s main point of contact for editorial opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Content, Product, and Data teams to identify, shape, and prioritize story angles based on internally produced content, proprietary data, and market insights.
• Transform technical and data-driven content into clear, engaging editorial narratives that align with publication standards and meet audience expectations.
• Plan and implement proactive outreach campaigns to achieve 4–5 high-value editorial mentions and backlinks per quarter in top-tier industry media.
• Assess outreach and placement opportunities through both an editorial and SEO perspective, prioritizing quality, relevance, and long-term impact over sheer volume.
• Monitor and report on media placements, backlinks, and performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to the broader marketing team.
• Continuously enhance outreach processes, documentation, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with PVcase’s growth objectives.
• Oversee and manage PVcase’s weekly social media execution across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign priorities.
• Work with the Content and Marketing teams to plan and schedule posts that promote key narratives, editorial placements, and product updates.
• Coordinate and manage PVcase’s monthly podcast, including planning, stakeholder alignment, timelines, and distribution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in editorial outreach, media relations, PR, or communications, preferably within B2B technology, renewable energy, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in securing editorial placements in industry or trade publications, with a solid understanding of the editorial process from pitch to publication.
• Strong working knowledge of SEO basics, including backlink quality, topical authority, and the role of earned media in SEO and GEO performance.
• Capability to evaluate outreach and placement opportunities from both a PR and search impact standpoint.
• Experience working with technical or data-driven content and collaborating with internal subject-matter experts to craft publishable stories.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch clearly, concisely, and credibly to editors and journalists.
• Highly organized and self-directed, capable of managing outreach initiatives from start to finish and effectively prioritizing multiple opportunities.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Content, Product, and Data teams in a dynamic B2B environment.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to track performance, interpret results, and continuously enhance outreach strategy.
• Fluency or bilingual proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, or Italian is advantageous.
• Experience or a strong interest in renewable energy, solar, or sustainability is highly preferred.
