This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• This service provides assistance to Government, Public Sector, and Infrastructure Sector clients, while ProSidian Team Members collaborate as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to deliver HNRTC Facilitator/Administrative Assistant Support services for The Department of Energy.
• The Richland Operations Office requires general support services for the Hanford Natural Resource Trustee Council (Council).
• Support is needed for full Council meetings, whether in person or via conference call, occurring every two months.
• Ensure that Council meetings utilize a fluid, consensus-driven decision-making process, fully and equitably considering all trustees' concerns.
• Work together with the Council Chair to plan meetings and organize meeting agendas.
• Coordinate with the Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive meeting support.
• Assist the Council with additional responsibilities, such as custodian duties for the Council’s website.
• Facilitate communication among trustees between meetings as needed to enhance meeting efficiency.
• Identify challenges and issues on specific agenda items that require resolution and propose solutions.
• Facilitate consensus-driven decision-making during meetings and conference calls.
• Prepare and distribute a draft summary of key facilitated meeting elements and outcomes within five working days post-meeting.
• Ensure that resolutions and other Council work products are prepared and distributed within five working days after meetings.
• The Group Meeting Facilitator - HNRTC | Kennewick, WA - GSSC must have consecutive employment in a role with similar responsibilities within the past five (5) years.
• Proficient in using a computer for email communication; must be skilled in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and other relevant tools and technologies required for the position.
• Work products must be thorough, accurate, well-documented, and adhere to established standards.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is necessary.
• Experience managing diverse interests and contentious issues is essential.
• Knowledge of facilitating groups of varied stakeholders to achieve consensus decisions is required.
• Certification as a Professional Facilitator is preferred.
• Experience working with tribal, state, and federal stakeholders is preferred.
• Understanding of environmental law, especially the natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) section of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Department of Interior regulations and guidelines related to NRDA is preferred.
• Familiarity with applicable treaties, including the Treaties of 1855, and the recognition of Tribal trustees as sovereign nations with traditional cultural interests in the landscapes and resources at the Hanford Site is preferred.
• Ability to identify any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; candidates must be United States Citizens.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe) is required.
• All ProSidian staff must be deemed eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also known as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.
• Applicants may be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement.
• Candidates must be able to undergo and qualify for varying levels of background investigations, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
