This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide support for FY21-004: Hanford Advisory Board (HAB) Facilitation Support
• Organize and disseminate all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans
• Collaborate with the DOE Hanford Site Deputy Designated Federal Officer, DOE Federal Coordinator, Ecology and EPA agency representatives, and the HAB to ensure that committee and Board agenda topics are included
• Maintain consistent, ongoing, and effective communication with agency representatives
• Create and distribute the HAB Annual Report as requested by the DOE Federal Coordinator
• Assist with Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey by conducting the survey and providing results to the Federal Coordinator
• Maintain a HAB library in accordance with FACA guidelines
• Oversee and assist in implementing administrative procedures
• Continuous employment in a role with similar responsibilities within the last five (5) years
• Ability to use a computer for email communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Four years of pertinent experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Experience engaging with diverse interests and contentious issues
• Proven experience facilitating groups of diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus
• Certified Professional Facilitator (preferred)
• Experience in facilitating tribal, state, and federal stakeholders (preferred)
• Understanding of environmental law, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) (preferred)
• Familiarity with tri-party agreements and applicable treaties, including the Treaties of 1855, as well as recognizing Tribal trustees as sovereign nations with traditional cultural interests in the landscapes and resources at the Hanford Site (preferred)
• Ability to identify any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• All ProSidian staff must be deemed eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.
• Remote work during COVID-19, with travel/reporting to the official duty station for in-person meetings
