This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Promote high-quality medical practices and ensure patient safety across various hospitals.
• Guarantee the consistent provision of top-notch, evidence-based healthcare.
• Mentor and develop Medical Directors through comprehensive record evaluations and immediate feedback.
• Advocate for patient safety initiatives, including event reporting and enhancement efforts.
• Assist in the integration of new medical advancements and care standards.
• Supervise the quality of medical records, equipment standards, and clinical compliance.
• Address medical-related client issues and board inquiries.
• Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety within the organization.
• Guide and support the professional development of Medical Directors and veterinarians.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or an equivalent qualification.
• Active veterinary license (or the ability to obtain one in the designated states).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in veterinary practice.
• At least 4 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Specialty board certification or advanced clinical training is preferred.
• Experience in leading across multiple hospitals or locations is preferred.
• Participation in professional veterinary organizations is preferred.
