Group Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of acquired companies in alignment with the strategy of Vesta Software

• Assist portfolio companies in driving commercial initiatives and fostering growth

• Mentor local managing directors on best practices and aid them in achieving excellence within their respective fields

• Direct and manage collaborative, cross-functional work stream execution efforts alongside both local and global business leaders

• Network, analyze, and identify potential target companies while preparing comprehensive project proposals in collaboration with business lines

• Influence the development of the business portfolio, including establishing a deal pipeline and facilitating the prioritization of M&A topics

• Develop proposals for transaction terms and assist in the negotiation of transactions

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree / academic mindset

• MBA is a plus

• Proficient in Hungarian and English, both spoken and written

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a background in transactions (M&A, integrations) and management roles

• Self-motivated individual with a strong emphasis on autonomy

• Clear and organized communication skills, both verbal and written

• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and influencing abilities

• Familiarity with software and technology sectors

• Proven track record in leadership and management skills

• Experience handling operational improvements, change management, and turnarounds

• Strong analytical skills paired with a structured, collaborative, and bold approach

• Project management expertise with the capability to effectively lead cross-functional teams

• Maturity and substantial managerial experience combined with a natural entrepreneurial spirit

• Extensive knowledge and experience related to M&A (e.g., negotiation, due diligence, financials, valuations, and market analysis)
